I currently have three distinct places where I write about my work and the photography industry in general.

As the name suggests this is my ski photography blog. Over the last few years many people have been specifically interested in this part of my work so I ended up creating a separate site to share photos and stories from my shoots and travels. On TheSkiPhotographer.com you will find regular updates of my recently published images from ski magazines around the world as well as ski and snowboard photography specific gear reviews and tutorials.
Dan Carr Photography Blog
This is my photography industry blog that deals with general news and goings on within photography and sometimes digital cinema. I write about what interests ME and I review a lot of photographic products from new cameras and lenses to camera bags and software. I occasionally post tutorials and videos relating to techniques and post processing software as well. If you are photo gear head this is the site you’ll want to follow. Whenever I get a new piece of equipment for my business I’ll post a report on how it handled in the field.
ProPhotoCoalition
I also write for a website called ProPhotoCoalition.com. These posts often deal with much more technical subjects than the general ones found on my regular photography blog and again include reviews of gear and tutorials.
Dan spends the winter's as a senior photographer for Skier magazine in Canada as well as shooting commercial images for many of the biggest winter sports brands and resorts in the world. In the summer he shoots a range of other commercial and sports photography specializing in motorsports. His work has been featured in more than 50 different publications from Japan to Canada and everywhere in between.
